I have a good friend whose little boy is going through chemo. I want to send my friend and his family some gifts from Japan, but im not sure what would be a good idea.
I want to send things that are Unique to Japan or are considered Japanese.
My friend said that his kid likes taking things in or out of containers and pressing buttons. I can't think of any Japanese toys that are like this. The only Japanese toy I know about is kendama.
He also said that unique candies from japan would be nice. Would some Amanatto, or Konpeito be good ideas? . Mochie is a chocking hazard, so I won't be sending anything with mochie in it. I want to send enough candy for all of his kids to share.
do little kids like oni, or kitsune face masks?
the child going through chemo is about 2-3 years old, and has 3 brothers, age 5, 10, and 12.
The boy is expected to make a recover, but his treatment plan is about 2-3 years.
They live in the United States so anything I send needs to go through U.S. customs.
I live in the Tohoku area.
