hello. i'm moving out in a few weeks. i did some research and figured out i need to cancel my bank account (all i have is a cash card anyway) and phone contract, pay my bills and tell them to turn off my electricity, water, etc., cancel my health insurance and let city hall know i'm leaving. i gave myself plenty of time to do these things, but with a lot of them (bank account and phone contract in particular) i'd like to do them as LATE as possible. do any of these things take a long time to do, as far as prior preparation is concerned, or do i just walk into the bank, write down my information and it's all good? i wouldn't want to leave them all for the last few days and then find out i've driven myself into a corner. thanks for any replies, hope everyone is having a nice day.
