I'm moving from Hiroshima to the small town of Kobayashi, Miyazaki from April to work as an ALT. It's a new job, my company seems nice, I'll be living in a small city for the first time, so I was really excited until I realized… There probably won't be many young people like me (23) there.
With everyone having left for University and work in the major cities, I'll have my pick between chatting to grandmas and grandchildren, and nothing in between. Kind of a big oversight on my part…
Now I'm feeling pretty depressed about being really limited in my ability to hang out with people my age.
Can anyone say anything to cheer me up about this? Thanks
